Everling Coastal Farm was started in 2016 by John and Debbie Everling to provide fresh, organically grown microgreens to local restaurants. After retiring from a career in technology sales, John was looking for something else to do and discovered a need for reasonably priced, fresh microgreens in a greater variety than was available through current suppliers. After speaking with local chefs, some samples were grown, taken to several restaurants, every one signed up for regular deliveries, and we were off to the races! We now proudly serve over 40 of the finest restaurants in the Virginia Beach and Norfolk areas providing unique, fresh microgreens and specialty greens for their menus.
Towards the end of 2019, after reading an article about the benefits of Pecan Oil, we started cold pressing food oils- Pecan and Pumpkin to start. We’ve since added Sunflower, with more oils to follow.
Our extra virgin cold pressed oils can be found in local stores in the Virginia Beach and Norfolk, VA areas, plus grocery stores in Richmond, VA.
